On Thursday, March 27 Latasha M. Ford with Awards Buzz attended the Los Angeles world premiere of A24’s immersive new film ‘Warfare’. Watch the below red carpet interviews with Adain Bradley and Evan Holtzman to get an in-depth look into the behind-the-scenes of this visceral, unflinching film.

“Comfortability was his priority, training was in three weeks his priority. No, it wasn’t always the most comfortable, I mean… I’m not going to pretend like we did anything remotely close to what the military boys and girls do, obviously not. They really took us out of our comfort zone.”

“I’m at a loss for words trying to answer that question even trying to answer, I’m already failing right? I’m definitely a changed man because of this project. I’m currently beyond grateful for everything, truly this is the best cast to be around, best directors, best production company and it’s a unique story. I don’t think stories like this come around … it’s like once in a lifetime.”

    About ‘Warfare’

Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland have truly created something special with “Warfare.” This isn’t just another military movie; it’s a powerful story about brotherhood and watching out for one another.

Mendoza’s approach of immersing the cast in the harsh realities of the era led to an authentic story, forged strong bonds, and created lasting camaraderie. Connor mentioned that the experience started with shaving each other’s heads on the first night, which made everyone feel vulnerable and created an immediate sense of mutual support. The subsequent 3-week boot-camp further strengthened these bonds. As Poulter noted, the cast had to lean on each other throughout the journey, especially when they doubted their own capabilities. This level of commitment truly defines being fully present in a project!
